Dear all,
I'm after a B James cloth label for my Mark IV Avon, rod bag, the bag is original but with the label missing. It would be nice to complete the rod.

There was someone on fleabay selling new replacement B. James rod bags a year or so back. Don't know if they are still on there. Did think about getting a couple as all my B James rods are in tatty or non-original bags. I don't even have the stoppers for them, so I guess I should hang my head in shame!

If you become innundated with offers of B.James labels, Tadpole, whack a few my way would you old chap?
Well, in fact just one would do. I have an Avocet in mint condition but in a tatty bag. I don't mind the tattiness, it is good honest wear and tear, but it would be nice to put a label on it.
Oh well, one lives in hope...

Troutbeck Troutbeck, with the surplus labels I'm thinking of making a waist coat, would you like one?

Certainly, Tadpole, most generous of you...but do you mind if I detach some of the labels for rod bags and sew on a tweed bait apron?
