You'll also be able to get this online via iPlayer or Listen Again if you're unable to listen at time of transmission.
As it's my birthday this weekend, the only way I'll be awake them is if I haven't gone to bed yet....
It'll be interesting to see what if any reaction this gets from those who scream in the angling weeklies about the gill-netting for research purposes on Windermere.
There's similar research proposed for Ireland, got sent the brief the other day.

I think we have discussed that app before Paul but anyway it's one hell of a tool for the BBC radio buff.

Homer, I found this on his site. Perhaps it's worth emailing the chap and asking for an update. I have always had replies from him over the daftest of questions.
Is Radio Downloader available for Linux or Mac OS?

Quote:
Radio Downloader is only currently available for Windows operating systems.

However, as the main Radio Downloader application runs on the .NET platform, it should be technically feasible to port it to other platforms supported by the Mono project with only a relatively small number of changes to parts of the code that are Windows specific. To make a full version of Radio Downloader for different platforms will also involve compiling new binaries specific to the new platforms, and creating a package or installer for each platform.

I have got a number of fixes and improvements to make before I start on porting to different platforms, so I'm not sure what the timescale is, but it is planned at some point!
