Interviews
We all have individuals we look up to and respect as fellow anglers, those that give us inspiration in our pastime. There are also many who
deserve recognition for the contributions to angling be it locally or on a
larger scale. Hopefully this section will grow to include interviews from the everyday angler, angling legend and anyone else with an interesting word or two to say.

John Andrews
Mike catches up with contemporary angling writer and vintage tackle dealer, John Andrews. "...It turned out I needn’t have done any preparation at all. His natural energy expressing his views on matters just kept rolling along, all I had to do was listen, then hold in my head until later. So, it turned out as a long chat over a couple of pints & a curry; perfect"

Paul Cook - The Art of Angling
A man of many talents, father, angler, artist, rod restorer, illustrator the list goes on and on (though he never played drums for the Sex Pistols that was another Paul Cook). Paul now combines many of his art and craft skills and his love of angling in his 'Art of Angling' work. Paul kindly agreed to an interview for Pure Piscator.

Dexter Petley
Dexter Petley within the confines of angling literature has become somewhat of a personal hero of mine in recent times! Plain and simple; he dares to write about angling without masking out the real world, hes not a peddler of unobtainable dreams, and hes not trying to sell you something! So heres my attempt to see what makes DP tick!

Jeremy Wade
After Chris & Bob's 'A passion for angling', TV fishing seemed to dry up for me, in fact I’ve not come across anything to talk off since, until I stumbled upon Jeremy Wade's Jungle Hooks, A breath of fresh air, an unpredictable, soul searching series, genuinely adventurous and above all else inspiring. I’m pleased to say Jeremy has agreed to an interview for Pure Piscator
